Log In & Change Your Password

Access your account and secure it with a new password

Go to app.skedulr.co.uk in your web browser

Enter the email address and temporary password from your welcome email

Click Log In

You'll be prompted to create a new password. Choose something secure (at least 8 characters, including numbers and symbols)

Click Save Password and you're in!
Pro Tip

Save your new password in a secure password manager. You'll need it every time you log in.

Complete Your Business Profile

Set up your care service details and preferences

Click on Settings in the left sidebar

Go to Business Profile

Fill in your details:
  • Business name and address
  • Contact phone number
  • CQC registration number (if applicable)
  • Operating hours and regions

Upload your business logo (optional but recommended for professional invoices)

Click Save Changes

Your business profile appears on invoices and documents, so make sure everything is accurate.

Add Your First Carer

Invite team members to join your Skedulr workspace

Click on Team in the left sidebar

Click the + Add Carer button

Enter the carer's details:
  • First name and last name
  • Email address
  • Mobile phone number
  • Employment type (Full-time, Part-time, Bank)
  • Start date

Set their availability (days and hours they can work)

Click Send Invitation — they'll receive an email with mobile app download instructions
Pro Tip

You can import multiple carers at once using our CSV upload feature (Team > Import Team Members).

Add Your First Client

Set up client profiles and care requirements

Click on Clients in the left sidebar

Click the + Add Client button

Enter the client's basic information:
  • Full name and date of birth
  • Address (with postcode for routing)
  • Contact numbers (client and next of kin)
  • Care package details (hours per week, funding type)

Add any special requirements or notes (dietary needs, access codes, medical conditions)

Click Save Client

Use the Notes section to record important details like door codes, pet information, or medication reminders.

Create Your First Visit

Schedule a care visit and assign a carer

Click on Rota in the left sidebar

Click on a date and time slot, or click + New Visit

Fill in the visit details:
  • Select the client
  • Choose visit start time and duration
  • Select the assigned carer(s)
  • Add any visit-specific notes or tasks

Click Create Visit

The assigned carer will receive an instant notification on their mobile app

Use the 'Repeat Visit' option to quickly create recurring visits (daily, weekly, or custom patterns).

Guide Your Carer Through the Mobile App

Your carer should have received an invitation email. If not, resend it from Team > [Carer Name] > Resend Invitation

They should download the Skedulr Carer App from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)

They'll log in using the email and temporary password from the invitation

The app will show them:
  • Today's visits with client details and addresses
  • Clock in/out buttons for each visit
  • Visit notes and care tasks
  • Route navigation to client locations

They can clock in when they arrive at the visit, complete care notes, and clock out when finished
Pro Tip

Schedule a quick 5-minute call with new carers to walk them through the app. This saves time later!
